Please keep our non-profit partners in mind, as they continue to serve and support our County moms and babies through this difficult time. We anticipate a greater demand for baby care items, so if you would like to donate outside of the event or host your own Shower of Love, our Amazon Wishlist and Target Registry will remain active. All wishlist purchases will be delivered to the Shower of Love office and distributed to our 7 partners. Due to the effects of COVID, we have elected to end the county-wide drive, but we continue to welcome individual donations and community donation drives.

Your donation supports moms like Alyssa, a teen mom working to complete her high school diploma, and Maria, a mother of three living in a long-term housing program while she rebuilds her life after being homeless. Diapers, wipes, and formula provide tangible support while our nonprofit partners provide support services each family needs.

Crisis Nursery Wentzville provides 24-hour emergency shelter and respite care for children ages birth to 12 and assists parents experiencing crisis or poverty. 636-947-0600

The CCRB administers a local tax fund for to children's mental health and substance use treatment services in St. Charles County. A staff member serves as the event coordinator.

History
Shower of Love began in 2006 as a collection drive for diapers, wipes, and other baby care items. Donations are distributed to local non-profits serving pregnant women, babies, and fragile families in crisis residing in St. Charles County and Lincoln County, Missouri.
Churches, businesses, civic groups, schools, and other community members unite in "showering" babies with love. With the support of our partners, Shower of Love helps reduce the risk of child abuse and eases financial strain on parents.
Shower of Love is a collaborative effort between the Community & Children's Resource Board of St. Charles County (CCRB) and the benefiting agencies. Each partner receives an equal share of donations to use for clients in the County.
Since 2006, Shower of Love has collected $1,045,000
in donations for St. Charles County babies and parents!
