Donations support moms, babies, children, and caregivers managing domestic violence, housing instability, or financial stress, as well as the challenges of caring for young children.

Domestic Violence Shelter is an emergency shelter in St.Charles County for women and their children who are experiencing intimate partner abuse and immediate danger. They accept children up to age the of seventeen. 636-224-1850
LINC St. Charles County provides support and direction for disadvantaged families in the community. LINC takes a comprehensive, wholistic approach to meeting physical, educational, social, and spiritual needs. (636) 332-5127
Nurses for Newborns provides nurse home-visiting services including education, healthcare and positive parenting skills and serve teen moms, the mentally or physically challenged, infants that are sick, and general population families in need. 314-544-3433
Our Lady’s Inn provides a loving home and support services for pregnant women, and their children, who are experiencing homelessness. 636-398-5375
Saint Louis Crisis Nursery Wentzville and St. Charles provides 24-hour emergency shelter and respite care for children ages birth to 12 and assists parents experiencing crisis or poverty. 636-947-0600
The Sparrow's Nest offers an innovative childcare cooperative. Families enrolled in their program will receive free childcare, mentorship, and case management to reach their family goals. 636-336-2534

History

About Us

Shower of Love began in 2006 as a collection drive for diapers, wipes, and other baby care items. Donations are distributed to local non-profits serving pregnant women, babies, and fragile families in crisis residing in St. Charles County and Lincoln County, Missouri.

Churches, businesses, civic groups, schools, and other community members united in "showering" babies with love. With the support of our partners, Shower of Love helps reduce the risk of child abuse and eases financial strain on parents.

Shower of Love was a collaborative effort between the Community & Children's Resource Board of St. Charles County (CCRB) and the benefiting agencies. We are proud to have helped thousands of children, moms, and caregivers over the years.
